Lists are the simplest part of our process – we have technology partners (some of the biggest in industry) who source lists on almost all industries across the world. We triple verify emails, phone #s, and other qualifying info – but that’s not the key factor in campaign results.

Our key process involves interviewing you before you even start, and using your business expertise to help build detailed targets to hit – we want to focus on what opportunities are actually good for building your company, and you might not always have this info on your own – that’s where our experts come in.

It all starts with our intake form – and we get back with numbers and details.


Unfortunately, there is no magic formula for writing copy – however, there are general approaches that work. (playbooks – sequences and structures) Through millions of emails sent, we’ve built a series of playbooks that work well – even with different industries.

Our campaign team is constantly in the “lab” researching, monitoring results and doing auditing. Through our partner Apollo and team CTO, we are able to consistently run data analysis on different audience splits to refine our knowledge. This market and industry constantly changes and we are on top of it.

Our account managers are trained and monitored to be able to get the most important information from you, and put together, and persistently adjust templates until we get the structure that works.


The YDNACMO Timeline happens in clear phases – we know how important timing is to you, so for all clients we prioritize getting launched and optimized ASAP. In your YDNACMO team, you will have multiple members (Campaign Manager, Account Manager, and Account Assistant) all plugged into our project management system to get things knocked out quickly and in the right steps.

At the same time, getting things right is of utmost importance. So we prioritize that above all else.

In our overwhelming experience, by 12 weeks, most clients can expect clear evidence of positive returns in terms of leads, campaign traction, and optimization generated. We are actively working on compressing this and making this better over time.

Within this timeline, there may be different steps for different client – i.e, we may suggest you fix website speed, or work on collateral. This will all be integrated into the core client experience.

You Don’t Need A CMO prides itself on transparency and clarity. We want to be on the same page as our clients before writing the first line of copy or running the first ad. These are our most frequently asked questions.

Why don’t you call yourself a lead-gen company?

We are not a leadgen company because the main metric we judge ourselves on is the campaign outcomes, not total output. If you don’t close the leads we generate, we are not successful — this is incredibly critical for new or small businesses who are investing in marketing for the first time. Our approach is holistic, and is designed to produce consistent business outcomes in the long term.

How do you work with clients? (timing, meetings)

We have a very hands-on campaign management team; generally, this involves us sharing a Slack channel with your company and being available at all times for consistent communication – we’re equally excited to be working with you.

Each client will have an account manager and campaign manager dedicated to their engagement. You will have weekly meetings with the YDNACMO to run through the campaign’s progress and address any strategy pivots.

What if we aren't satisfied or don't reach results?

Sometimes, things don’t go according to plan – delays on our end, your end, even industry constraints and obstacles (Like COVID!) we never would have anticipated.

We have pages and pages of documentation to address various scenarios – we don’t give up on clients. Often, we’ve developed new services or products to address clients where things haven’t gone according to plan.

That being said, our vetting process is very important and the more information that is provided early on, the more accurate lead estimates we can get you.

Do you do graphic design or copywriting?

Your YDNACMO campaign management team will develop all the different copywriting items related to the email campaigns. These templates are commented on and approved by the client prior to being sent out into the market.

YDNACMO does not have any in-house team members to execute on any graphic design items. However, we have a vast network of partners who are experts in those areas.
